Quick rules for selection (practical for everyday life)

  • Estimate capacity: Daily requirement (Wh) ÷ 12V ÷ 0.8 ≈ required Uh; 20–30% reserve Plan for it.
  • Charging current: total ≤ 0.5C the battery capacity (e.g. 200Ah → ≤ 100A).
  • Inverter power: rough Ah ≈ Rated power/10 (200Ah ≈ 2000W) and 2× start-up reserve provide.
  • Cable & Backup: inverter ≤1 m for the battery, sufficient copper cross-section; Fuse near positive terminal.

  • System voltage: 12V is most common; larger systems via 24V/36V/48V solar battery (also from Limited available).
  • Parallel/Series: Many LiFePO4 Allows parallel connection for expansion (note identical model/batch); 48V/51.2V It is a stable match for home storage/high-wattage inverters.
  • Monitoring convenience: With Bluetooth BMS show Limited-Batteries SOC/Voltage/Temperature/Cycles in the app – helpful for maintenance & Troubleshooting.

FAQ

F1: 12V or 24V in the camper?
It is sufficient for light loads. 12V solar battery; in the case of large inverters or continuous operation 24 V/48 V more efficient. Limited solar battery offers 12 V/24 V/36 V/48 V Variants.

Q2: Is low-temperature/self-heating necessary for winter camping?
Under 0 °C Charging is restricted. Low-Temp/Self-Heating Maintains stable charging capability and usable capacity – ideal for cold regions.

Q3: What MPPT size?
On Total PV wattage and the System voltage align: e.g. B. 400 W@12 V ⇒ 30–40 A MPPT, 800 W ⇒ 60 A. Preferably with LiFePO4 profile and Bluetooth for monitoring.

Q4: How do I size the inverter?
Total of Continuous loads + 20–30% reserve; in engines that approach peak Note. Example 1200 W ⇒ 2000 W pure sine wave.

F5: Mix with lead-acid battery?
Not recommended. Running different chemicals/aging processes in parallel increases the risk – separate systems are recommended. LiFePO4 are safer and more efficient.
